Having oily skin sometimes can be a challenge because it can limit the number and type of skincare products you can choose and mess with some of your daily activities.
Here we will give you some recommendations you must follow if you plan to get rid of shiny skin, reduce your chances of acne breakouts, and maintain healthy skin:
- Clean your skin every morning and evening: Choose a neutral soap; most of them are designed to treat oily skin. They not only will help you to remove the excess oil, but also the dead skin cells. This way improves your pores’ appearance.
- Add a toner to your daily routine: This product can help you balance your skin’s pH; it must be applied after your first step (cleanser). For oily skin, go for a toner containing active ingredients such as Glycolic Acid or Salicylic Acid.
- Don’t forget your moisturizer: Oily skin doesn’t mean hydrated skin; therefore, moisturizer must be used on every occasion. Avoid creamy products, as well moisturizers containing oil or with thick consistencies.
- Don’t forget to wash your face after exercise: Oil production may be increased after exercise, hence don’t forget to wash your face with mild soap after this activity.
