Highlighters are the best makeup options to add glow and radiance to your face. But having oily skin gives you some shiny patches on our skin. Here is a guide for you on how you can use a highlighter on your oily skin.

Using a highlighter can make your skin look plump and your features chiseled. It gives such a glow to your face that it can create a whole lively look out of your face. But people with oily skin often tend to avoid it because of the overproduction of sebum and their shiny skin. But you have every right to look the way you want. Having oily skin shouldn’t stop you; you can still wear your highlighters.

It starts with your skincare routine. Clear and flawless skin can help you control unwanted sebum production. The normal combination of oily skin is manageable. So, maintain clear skin with a diligent skincare routine. After that, choose your makeup products carefully. Try using matte moisturizer and foundation to minimize the shine. Choose powder-based highlighters over cream or oil-based and apply them minimally. Always apply a little amount of it and blend it out carefully. Be sure that you don’t overdo it.
