Can Hemp Seed Oil Help You Ease Your Eczema?

Hemp seed oil is almost 75% based on omega 6 and omega 3 fatty acids in an optimum ratio of 3:1, respectively. It also contains gamma-linolenic acid, another fatty ingredient. This unique composition of hemp seed oil makes it ideal for dry inflammatory conditions like eczema and psoriasis

Hemp seed oil can be applied to your affected skin directly. Some people prefer it after mixing in any carrier oil like coconut oil. You can also go for products bearing hemp seed oil like soaps, lotions, creams, etc. As this oil is obtained from a seed, it has a tendency of causing an allergic reaction, so always do a patch test before applying to the affected area. For a chronic condition, don’t use it without consulting your doctor.
