You must be aware of activated charcoal as it is a famous detoxifying ingredient of face masks and cleansers. But do you know what bamboo charcoal is? Let’s find out.

Commonly available activated charcoal in skincare products is obtained from several sources, such as bone char, petroleum coke, coal, etc. Bamboo charcoal is obtained by burning the bamboo at a high temperature with a low amount of oxygen. What Are the Wonders of Bamboo Charcoal Masks?

The bamboo charcoal face mask is amazing for exfoliating the skin. It results in brighter and clearer skin. This mask is especially great for oily skin and combination skin as it removes excess oil and dirt hence it prevents pimples and breakouts.

Bamboo charcoal is available in both peel off and rinse off face masks. But rinse off masks are gentler to the skin than peel off. Apply it on your clean and dry face. It is completely safe for every skin. But if you have dry skin, this mask might make it drier because it absorbs excess oils.
