These days many new and unique skin care procedures are trending. One of them is microdermabrasion. You might have heard of it along with facial or similar procedures. Let’s discuss it in detail.

Why Is Microdermabrasion So Popular?

Microdermabrasion is a process to remove the upper dead skin layer. It involves two different ways:

  1. One involves an applicator with an abrasive surface. It gently removes the outer dead layer to rejuvenate the skin.
  2. Another way is to spray fine particles of sodium bicarbonate or aluminum oxide with a vacuum or suction.

Both ways, we get the same results. It is an excellent procedure to renew the skin and get an even-toned and improved textured skin. Microdermabrasion helps to get rid of dull complexion by removing the dead cells. It helps treat sun damage. Microdermabrasion is found to reduce fine lines, wrinkles, and age spots. It also helps with scars, stretch marks, and melisma. In short, it has several benefits that can easily convince you to try it yourself.
