Some Dos and Don’ts of Mixing Different Skincare Products
Some skincare products can be mixed while some cannot be combined with each other. Mixing different skincare products without considering the nature of the ingredients and how they will interact can result in wastage of the product, and your skin may have to pay for that.

Here is a brief guide about some dos and don’ts of mixing some everyday skincare products:
Retinol:
It is a common anti-aging skincare product and a favourite ingredient of dermatologists. It can be used with moisturizers containing hyaluronic acid, ceramides and sunscreens. But it should never be mixed with vitamin C, benzoyl peroxides and facial acids like AHA and BHA.
Vitamin C:
It is a very beneficial antioxidant and skin brightening agent. It is good to use with any other skincare product except those bearing retinol.
Niacinamide:
It is also called vitamin B3. Niacinamide is a potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent. It can be mixed with any other skincare ingredient except vitamin C.
