The primary goal of a skincare routine is to perfectly balance the needs of your skin. That’s why it is difficult to manage combination skin because it has both dry areas and oily areas. Here are some valuable skincare tips for you to manage this issue.      

A combination skin type bears both dry, flaky patches and oily areas. Usually, T-zone is oily while the cheeks, eyes, and temple areas are dry. The trick is to lie in the middle and go for the gentle option. Such as:

Use a gentle cleanser:

Cleansing is necessary to keep skin healthy but opt for oil balancing cleansers. Check the ingredients list and make sure there are no harsh ingredients. Ideally, a cleanser should remove excess oil and dirt without extremely drying your dry areas.

Exfoliate with caution:

Exfoliation is the key to smooth and healthy skin. But over-exfoliation can irritate your dry skin. That’s why to opt for gentle exfoliants.

Use blotting pads:

Dermatologists recommend using blotting paper to temporarily absorb the excess oil without affecting your makeup. It is a great way to reduce the shiny look on your T-zone. 

Try multi-masking:

Multi-masking is simultaneously applying various masks on different areas of your face addressing their individual needs. It is a great way to take care of combination skin types.
