All You Need To Know About Fitness

Fitness is a state of being physically fit and healthy, and includes characteristics such as cardiorespiratory endurance, muscular endurance, body composition, flexibility, and muscle strength among others.

Major types of fitness exercises:
  1. Aerobic:

Any sort of cardiovascular conditioning is classified as aerobics. It means any exercise with oxygen in which your heart rate should increase like swimming, running, cycling and abrupt walking are some examples.

  1. Muscle strengthening:

Muscle strengthening includes any exercise with which our muscles build stronger and fatigue resistant. Stronger muscles can refer to muscles that are more powerful and can perform larger tasks (such as lifting greater weights) or muscles that can function for longer periods of time before becoming weary (endurance).

  1. Stretching:

Stretching is the capacity to move through an unconstrained, pain-free range of motion. A flexible body can do more work without exhausting. Flexibility or stretching is the same.  Some examples of stretching activities are: Yoga, stretching.

Importance of fitness:

In the modern era the life of a common person is full of stress and challenges.  In order to meet the new challenges one should always remain fit and healthy. Fitness includes body’s physical exercise like running, swimming, workouts, cycling etc. If one is fit it will benefit both his mind and body. There are some facts that one should remember.

  • Health improvement:

Physical fitness has multiple health benefits. Our muscles and bones become strong through the daily physical exercise. It improves our cardiovascular, respiratory and general wellness. Exercise also reduces the risk of many diseases like daily morning walk is beneficial for the diabetic patient and every doctor recommends them to walk in morning also it lessens the daily stress on our mind and body.

  • Reducing the risk of injury:

Through daily exercise we strengthen our muscles and body hence our immune system also becomes strong, and it reduces the risk of many internal and external diseases and also injuries.  Physical fitness, especially as you get older, can diminish your risk of injury.
