Have You Ever Tried A Homemade Facial?

Facials are good for the skin as they improve its health. Deep cleansing and exfoliation allows for a greater cell turnover, resulting in softer, more even skin that is less prone to breakouts and shows fewer signs of aging.

How to do a facial at home?

Step 1: Tie your hair up. Before cleansing your face, tie your hair up into a bun or a ponytail.

Step 2: Cleanse.

Step 3: Exfoliate. 

Following scrubs can be used for exfoliation:
  • Sugar & tea tree scrub.
  • Honey & oatmeal scrub.
  • Coconut oil & brown sugar scrub.

Step 4: Face mask.

Step 5: Moisturize.

Step 6: Massage.

Step7: Add a serum.

Is it good to do a facial daily?

Unless you follow a skin care routine created by your Aesthetician, you don’t want facials too frequently. More than once every two weeks might do more harm than good.

Is a facial necessary for skin?

Facials help in rejuvenation of skin, and help in removing wear and tear. These are important to keep skin texture young, hydrated and plump. Elasticity and collagen are built over time. Other important benefits are improvement of scarring, wrinkles and crinkles and also reduction in hyperpigmentation.

Types of homemade facials that can give naturally glowing skin: 
  • Oatmeal with honey and water:

Oatmeal is super good for your skin. It has antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties. Mix it with a bit of honey and water to make a paste. Gently apply it on your face and leave it on for ten minutes before rinsing with water.

  • Milk facial:

To clean the face, first of all, mix a little raw milk and lemon juice in a bowl. Now apply it on your face and massage it with light hands. Now leave it on your face like this for 5-10 minutes. Then clean the skin with water.
