Top Foods to Add to Your Diet for Anti-Aging

Aside from genes and beauty enhancements, our diet and lifestyle play a huge part in keeping our bodies in tip-top shape.

Our main concern should not be focused on how we look on the outside, but on how healthy our bodies are on the inside because as they say, what goes on in the inside will show on the outside.

As the saying goes, “we are what we eat”.

Aside from reducing processed foods (e.g. refined sugars, junk food, sodas), here are a few of the suggested foods that you should think of incorporating into your diet.

Strawberries, Raspberries, and Blueberries

It’s about time to replace your after-dinner dessert with natural sugars.

Not only are they delicious but berries are also loaded with antioxidants that protect our body’s normal biochemical processes from being disturbed by pollutants and toxins.

It also prevents the breakdown of collagen in our body which is important for bone strength, skin integrity, and other body tissues.

Avocado

It is known to have anti-inflammatory properties and is a good source of healthy fat.

Other than this, it is rich in vitamins like vitamin E and A which are both good for keeping our skin young and fresh by providing adequate moisture and improving skin turnover.

Pomegranate

It is a good source of vitamin C that protects our skin from UV damage and supports cellular repair.

Plus, it can reduce inflammation which can improve our overall health.
