Your hairbrush traps several of the residues from your hair every time you run it through your locks. So it is better to clean your hairbrush from time to time.

No matter how healthy your hair is, you must be shedding some of them every day while combing them. This fallen hair, along with any dust or debris from your hair and the environment, get deposited on the bristles of your hairbrush. Following is the simplest way to clean it:

- Start with pulling the tangled hair in the brush with your fingers. Use a scissor if they are difficult to remove. Even if you don’t proceed with the following steps every other day, make sure you do this at the very least.
- Take a cup, add some shampoo, a bit of baking soda, and water to it. Mix it well to create a cleaning mixture.
- Dip your hairbrush in the cleaning mixture and rub off deposited dirt on it.
- Once it is properly clean, leave your brush aside to dry it properly.
- In the case of wooden brushes, make sure you don’t keep them in water for long.
