A wrong diet can cause acne, wrong skincare products, hormonal imbalance, medications, inadequate makeup, sun exposure, and can also be hereditary.

On occasions, you may notice how acne can seem to improve during summer; however, it tends to be temporary and doesn’t show a full recovery; that is why we will explain to you what happens during this season and why the acne is getting worse after summer.

What happens with acne in summer?

Why Is My Acne Worse After The Summer?

Most people use the summer to have some time off and relax; most people choose to have outdoor activities and remember to wear their skin lotions and sunscreen; therefore, they tend to maintain hydrated and protected skin. On the other hand, the diet, which is also an important factor that increases the chances of alcohol, tends to be unbalanced and full of excess.

After the summer is gone, people go back to their routines where the most common complaint is the lack of time to follow a full skincare routine. They start skipping the exfoliation, masks, skin cleansers, and even sunscreen which increases the risk of acne and breakouts.
