Why do Experts suggest Oil Cleansing?

Using oil cleansers has been trending for a while and is also supported by experts. If you are also nervous that it might break out your skin, then keep reading to know why experts recommend oil cleansing.

Cleansing your face is a necessary step in your skincare. While several opinions about the type of cleansers, oil cleansers have a consistent formulation with few variations. They are oil-based and are believed to be good for every skin type. However, the experts recommend it because of its following properties:

Oil solvent:

Oil cleansers act as a solvent for oil-based impurities. This also includes your natural skin oil. Also, there are oil-based makeup leftovers on our skin that are not removed by water-soluble cleansers. In short, oil cleansers dissolve all the oil-soluble impurities and debris from your face.

Safe for skin barrier:

Another pro of oil cleansers is that they do not disrupt our skin’s natural barrier. In fact, they support the natural barrier while doing their job.

Gentle in nature:

Oil cleansers are gentler to the skin. They do not harm or damage our skin. That’s why it is well suited to all skin types.

However, oil cleansers are never used alone. They are followed by water-based cleansers in the double cleansing method. Using it this way will never make your skin break out.
