Skincare tips you must follow if you are pregnant

If You Are Pregnant, many changes are going through the body, and you will notice how your skin and nails also take part in that, You will see how your nails and hair are growing faster, acne breakouts can be noticed on your face and body, and even skin pigmentation can be more evident; therefore, a few changes to your skin routine should be made and new products should be added to your daily routine. 

 Some of the products you were using before pregnancy should be avoided during this period, not only because they have shown to have chances of affecting the baby, but also because they may not be effective for this period. 

One of the most important procedures to avoid is the aesthetic ones, and the reason is that there are not enough studies to demonstrate if such procedures are safe to use during pregnancy or not. So, in this case it is better to avoid them completely. 

Products you should choose if You Are Pregnant:

  • Panthenol and Allantoin to calm your skin.
  • Organic products.
  • Sensitive skin products.
  • Bakuchiol (also known as the vegan retinol)

Products you must avoid: 

  • Vitamin A-derived products like retinol.
  • Salicylic acid.
  • Injectable treatments like botulinum toxin and dermal fillers.
  • Chemical peelings.
  • Pigmentation treatment like Hydroquinone.
