Proper layering of skincare ingredients is critical because only this can ensure the maximum absorbance and penetrability of these products to get the desired benefits. Here is a simple guide for you on how to layer your skincare products

Our skincare routines are no longer simple now. Even if you are not too much into the skin and beauty world, still you must be using at least 3-4 products. Our multi-step routines need the right order of application to make a difference and show their effects. Just follow these rules while deciding your skincare layering order:

A basic guide:

Skincare Layering Guide to Use the Products in Right Order

One of the basic guides for layering skincare products is to go for products based on their desired effects. Just follow this order with the cleansing products, then treating products and lastly with protecting products.

Here the protective product in your morning routine will be sunscreen, and in the night routine, it will be face oil.

From thinner to thicker consistency:

Go for thinner products first and follow with thicker products. The first application of the thicker products can hinder the absorbance of lighter products.

Wait between layering:

Don’t slap your products one after another. Wait for at least 3 to 6 seconds between layering for maximizing the benefits.
