PCOS is a condition manifested in women, usually during the fertile age. Women suffering from PCOS will usually consult with the Doctor for having long periods without menstruation or even not having it at all. This happens due to a hormonal imbalance; however, there are many other reasons but are still uncertain.

The main concern is the fertility issues related to this Syndrome; women can’t release mature ovules hence eggs can’t be fertilized. By identifying this condition and treating it early, you can prevent infertility and other diseases related to PCOS, such as metabolic disorders.
How can you know if you suffer from PCOS?
The first and easiest symptom to identify is an irregular period or even lack of it (amenorrhea). Once you go to the Doctor and inform them about it, an ultrasound and blood test will be performed where the presence of cysts in the ovaries and hormonal imbalance shown on your blood test will be identified together.

How are my skin and hair affected if I have PCOS?
