How to Keep Your Brows Healthy and Thick

Whether you want to stick to the ingredients you have in your kitchen cabinet or want to splurge in the department store for a fancy serum, scout for ingredients that will enhance the growth process of your hair and nourish the strands. 

These are:

Keep it on for 30 minutes and then wipe it off with a makeup remover and wash it off with a facial cleanser. 

You can do this as often as thrice weekly. But if you’re a busy bee, once weekly will do. 

Tips on How to Take Care of Your Brows

  1. Take it easy with the makeup. If you wear eyebrow makeup daily, you might want to dedicate rest days. Makeup can clog your pores and decrease space for your hair to breathe (to grow). Aside from this, chemicals can slow down your hair growth.
  2. Eat biotin-containing food such as egg yolk, legumes, avocado, nuts and seeds, mushrooms, sweet potatoes, bananas, etc.
  3. Avoid over-plucking! Keep your tweezers away from thick strands and stick to the thin and light ones instead.
  4. Brush your eyebrows as you do with your hair. It provides a massage and will help in the circulation of blood around the area.
