You cannot get hair dye done by a professional every time you want, so try to embrace DIY skills. But that can leave stains on your skin like forehead, neck, probably ear, and hand too. Let’s discuss how to remove these stains from your skin.
It is inevitable to get hair dye stains on skin along your hairline or face while applying. But you can’t use harsh chemicals on your face to get rid of them. Following are some of the tips that can help you remove those stains without compromising your skin:
- When you get stains, try to remove them while still wet using anything such as a cotton ball.
- Try soap and warm water to wash your skin after removing the dye.
- You can use olive oil to cleanse your skin for removing dye stains. Use it with a cotton ball and gently rub over the stains to get them off.
- If stains are too stubborn, try rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover. But if you have dry or sensitive skin, none of them are a good option for you.
- Rubbing non-gel toothpaste can also help get rid of hair dye stains.
