Facial exercises are quite a discussion lately for firmer and sculpted faces. But do they really work? Let’s find out.

As we age, our fat pads between muscles and skin start to dislodge gradually. This makes the skin sag and looks aged. So facial exercises are targeted to make these fat pads stay in place and build up those muscles. Hence your face will look fuller and youthful.
Just like hitting hard in the gym for a firmer and stronger body, face yoga and exercises are repetitive motions and over-exaggerated expressions to activate and build muscles. The main focus is on muscle movement in such a manner as to tone up the face shape.

A 20-week study was carried on facial exercises, and it reported that it actually works. It was observed that at the end of the study, daily facial exercises gave firmer skin with fuller cheeks to the participant. The participants felt they looked three years younger than their actual age.
If you have tried and didn’t observe any prominent result, check out if you were giving it a proper time or not. For facial exercises to actually work, you need to give some significant time to them. Maintain a daily routine and stick to it like a regimen to observe effective results.
