Do you try to mix your sunscreen with your moisturizer or foundation? Or have you heard of it?
Let’s discuss if it is possible to combine them and add to their benefits or not.
Sunscreen is the most important part of your daily skincare routine. You should use it not only in summer but also in winter and even on cloudy days. You have to wear it not in summer but all year round, even on cloudy days. Similarly, moisturizers and many other beauty products might be a must for daily application. You must be tempted to mix them together to simplify your steps. Let me tell you that this is the worst thing you can do with your beauty products.
Mixing two or more different products can be seriously hazardous. Because there can be a conflict of ingredients. This means chemical ingredients may not react well to each other. Their reaction can result in multiple consequences. It can cause skin rash or irritation. It may degrade the essential ingredients of the product making it less effective.
It depends on your skin type as normally. When we want to solve something from somewhere, we need to fix the problem directly. Also, be aware that by mixing sunscreen, you are diluting it. This will result in compromised UV filtration. In short, you cannot combine your sunscreen with lotion, foundation, primer, or any other product. You can’t even mix two different sunscreens.
