Honey has antibacterial and antioxidant properties which makes it very useful for body scrubbing. Not only can honey help repair skin tissue and protect against UV damage, but it may also help kill germs on the skin.
As far as the benefits of sugar are concerned, because of its granular nature, it scrubs your skin efficiently when encountering friction while you massage it on your face.
Honey can be easily combined with granules and oil to make a skin-nourishing body scrub. After massaging the scrub into your skin, be sure to rinse your skin off thoroughly to prevent stickiness. Body Scrubbing
- 3 tablespoons of brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
How to prepare scrubs?
Take coconut oil in a mixing bowl. When it becomes hard, heat it properly to melt it. Then cool it and add honey in it and mix it to avoid any lump formation.
Add brown sugar to this mixture. Before adding brown sugar into this mixture, make sure that the mixture is cool enough not to dissolve the sugar. So in the final form, the brown sugar should be present in the form of granules to scrub your skin.
