Basic Tips on How to Prevent Bacne (Back Acne)
Acne is not only found in our face but all areas with hair and oil-secreting glands. One of these areas is our back.
So, here are simple tips to help you keep your back clean and bright.
I know this sounds ridiculous. Who doesn’t take a shower every day? But you’ll be surprised. There are quite a few who will skip a bath if they can.
If your face secretes a lot of oil, most of the time, your back does too. So make sure that you wash your body at least once a day with a gentle cleanser so as not to break the barrier of your skin. But if you have quite a lot of acne, you might want to grab a body wash that contains a bit of salicylic, glycolic, or lactic acid.
Tip #2: Keep your hair clean.
Another reason why taking a bath is important is that the oil from your hair can also stick to your back. The dirt from your hair can deposit bits and pieces onto your back and contribute to your bacne.
Tip #3: Dress up after a workout.
With sweat sitting on your skin for an hour or so, dirt and grime can accumulate.
So once done with your workout, shower or change into clean clothes.
