Dark armpits are a common skin condition that must be treated, not only because it is related to health issues, but also because it is an area that is exposed, especially during summer. We tend to hide it and feel self-conscious when it has pigmentation.

- Try other methods to remove hair: Avoid shaving and waxing; it can cause abrasion in the area. Go for methods such as IPL and laser hair removal.
- Avoid applying products containing fragrance and alcohol.
- Apply SPF 30 or higher on the area before prolonged sun exposure.
- Don’t forget to exfoliate the area at least once a week.
- Chemical peeling is an effective treatment for underarm pigmentation: It must be applied by a professional; never try to do it by yourself
