When you get a skin reaction due to a product, the very first thing is to stop using that product immediately. Look for symptoms if you observe swelling in the face, eyes, throat or difficulty in breathing, immediately contact for medical assistance. If your skin reaction is mild, then you can deal with it at home. Just follow the following steps:

  • Wash off the product from your skin, preferably with cold water.
  • Apply a cold compress to relieve symptoms.
  • If symptoms persist, apply OTC 1% hydrocortisone.
