The best thing about head massage is that you can do it yourself in an easy and comfortable environment. All you need to have is your soft and gentle fingertips and good quality essential massage oil. Some people also prefer to use massaging tools for a more relaxing effect.

To give yourself an effective massage you need to follow these steps:

Stay relaxed and find a comfortable seat. To avoid any mess up, use a towel around your neck and on the back of the chair too.

Take a few drops of oil on the palm of your hand and start applying with the fingertips of the other hand in a circular motion. Apply the pressure from medium to high on your scalp.

Massage for a minimum of 5 minutes, making sure to cover your entire head.

You can wash the oil out with shampoo after 1 hour.
