Pumpkin has a big part in our lives, we bake, grill, and carve them on Halloween; but most people don’t know how beneficial this is for our skin. Pumpkin is rich in antioxidants, amino acids, vitamins A, C, E, and enzymes. Most of its benefits come from high Vitamin A and enzyme content. 

What are the benefits of Pumpkin enzymes?

Enzymes are molecules that increase the speed of a chemical process. In our skin, they increase the keratin decomposition to facilitate the elimination of dead skin still attached to the dermis.

DIY Mask

You can use this mask on any type of skin. As always, remember to do a patch test before to see how your skin reacts.

For this mask, you only need the following ingredients:

Mix the pumpkin pulp with the almond seeds, add two spoons of water, and put it in the microwave for two minutes. Let it rest and add the pineapple, followed by the ground almond, milk, and honey. Apply the mask to your face and let it rest for 10 to 15 minutes.
