Aloe vera is called the “plant of immortality” for a reason. You might even have aloe vera plants lying around your garden. Go and pick one or two and use them in various ways for different purposes.

Hair Growth Aloe Vera

Aloe is rich in vitamin C, E, B12, and folic acid that are all good boosters for strengthening and nourishing the hair.

So before taking a shower once to twice a week, massage a spoonful onto your scalp until it gets absorbed by your roots. This practice alone will not only promote hair growth but also give you shinier and healthy hair

Itchiness and Redness

It has anti-inflammatory properties that work by blocking the pathway that is responsible for the itchiness and redness. So whenever you have an insect bite or have a bit of irritation, you can apply a very small amount and let it sit for a few minutes.

Sunburn

It contains a carbohydrate and a growth hormone that work to speed up wound healing by triggering collagen synthesis. It is also a good antioxidant that can prevent free radicals (like UV rays from sun exposure) from damaging your skin and causing oxidative stress.

For better relief from sunburn and inflammation, it is best to store aloe vera in a refrigerator to keep the aloe cold. You can even freeze them in ice trays to make gel cubes.
