Moisturizer – Bring Life To Your Skin!

Moisturizer is as important for the skin as water is for life. Our skin needs to stay hydrated and moisturized to maintain its health. Whichever skincare routine one follows, it is always incomplete without a good moisturizer.

No matter what skin type you have, whether oily, dry, or a combination, a moisturizer always needs to be incorporated into your daily skincare. It controls most of the factors that cause major skin problems later on.

Let us have a look at some benefits which make moisturizer ‘a never to skip’ product.

  1. Protects the skin barrier:

The skin keeps a natural defense system ‘the barrier’, which stops the impurities from sinking in. Keeping your skin dry for longer periods may break it. Moisturizer gets absorbed into the open pores hence locking the barrier again.

  1. Prevents acne:

Our body produces some natural oils. When the skin gets dry, it promotes the production of more oil by the glands. This excess oil can fill in the pores, eventually leading to breakouts. Oil-free and gel moisturizers are made specifically for this purpose. Oily skin needs to be moisturized as religiously as dry skin.

  1. Anti-aging:

The skin continues to repair itself. In people using a moisturizer, wrinkles appear at a smaller rate compared to those with dry skin.

  1. Reduces blemishes:

Moisturizers help to reduce the fine lines and blemishes on the skin, hence making your skin look bright and healthy.

Some natural moisturizers to use:

Plenty of good moisturizers are available in the market according to your skin type and texture. Besides them, some excellent moisturizers are available in your kitchen which includes:

  • Honey
  • Coconut oil
  • Olive oil
  • Aloe Vera
  • Milk cream

Moisturize yourself and stay beautiful!
