You should know that no pigment is approved for injection use, so the safety profile of the ink is not known. In tattoo making, the ink breaches the skin, and these inks contain benzopyrene, which is a carcinogen. Also, if the equipment is not sterilized, it can transmit skin and blood-borne diseases. A granuloma can also form around the tattoo. 

Is Tattoo Safe for Your Skin?

Dyes, particularly blue, green, yellow, and red, can cause an allergic reaction. Also, these dyes are known for causing skin damage. To minimize skin damage, proper aftercare is very crucial.

If you still want to get a tattoo, opt for a reputable studio with trained employees and a hygienic environment. Also, take good care of the area of your skin after getting a tattoo and prevent it from direct sunlight.
