Air conditions can have a drying effect on our skin because it removes a large amount of moisture from the air. Some humidity is necessary for the environment otherwise, your skin starts losing its water, leaving behind dry, flaky and itchy skin. A humidifier can help restore the humidity levels in the air. It provides much-needed moisture even in the dry climate. Dermatologists also support its use. They say that humidifiers help with dry and itchy skin by retaining hydration. You can also use essential oils in a humidifier to get added soothing and relaxing benefits.
