Hydra Facial is a facial treatment that cleans up the pores without involving needles and pricking. What makes it more attractive than the traditional facial is its ability to exfoliate and hydrate the skin at the same time. How does it work?
The aesthetician uses the Hydra Facial machine from start to finish where the tip of the machine is changed depending on the area and step.
In step 1, the machine starts to exfoliate the skin to get rid of excess sebum and dirt. This step is important for de clogging pores and suctioning out the debris sitting at the bottom of your skin.
In step 2, further exfoliation is done while also delivering active ingredients into the skin. While the machine is removing all the dirt, it also infuses chemical acids (e.g. glycolic or salicylic) to soften the epidermis and promote micro peeling.
Step 3 is the final step that involves boosting the skin with a serum that contains peptides and hyaluronic acid to hydrate and rejuvenate the skin further.
When should you do this treatment?
Since this treatment only lasts for around 30 minutes, you can easily squeeze this, during your lunch break and continue with your normal daily activities.
This procedure can be done every 2-3 weeks to lighten dark spots, address acne, and lessen visible fine lines.
