How Can You Erase Your Laugh Lines?

As we age, wrinkles become inevitable.. But some of us experience  wrinkles in a few areas more prominent or say, earlier than others. Most commonly, laugh lines are the first to appear. Let’s find out how one can get rid of them.

Laugh lines, aka smile lines, are the wrinkles developed around the sides of our mouths. Sometimes we also develop them around our eyes. These wrinkles are most noticeable when one smiles, that’s why they are named so.

There can be many reasons. It can be due to genetics, loss of elasticity, reduced collagen, dehydrated skin or early development due to smoking or sun damage. Botox, injectable fillers, surgery and laser therapy are some techniques to fill those laugh lines. Apart from them, micro-needling for collagen induction is also very effective. OTC creams containing retinol and essential oils can also lighten them but take months to show improvement. One can also opt for facial exercises to reduce laugh lines.

One can slow down its appearance by taking care of skin at a young age, but it’s a constant battle for them once developed. So start taking care of your skin at your young age, keep them hydrated, apply sunscreen and try facial exercises to enjoy your youthful skin for a long period of time.
