In simpler words, draping is a makeup technique of contouring your face with a blush. Instead of using a darker shade contour, you apply blush to make your face more angular. It gives a natural, fresher, and soft look to your features. If you want to try draping, then here is a simple guide for you:
- Start by applying blush over your cheekbones. But don’t use a regular blush brush; use a contouring brush.
- While applying blush, move the brush towards your temples to blend blush here, too, to get a more defined look.
- If your blush seems too much, apply some loose setting powder to blend the color.
And that’s all you have to do in draping. So draping can be defined as sculpting your face by using a popping blush. You can apply a single shade only or try multiple shades.
