Common Areas for Botox Injection

If you are new to Botox, here are a few areas of the face that are commonly treated with Botox:

Frown Lines

Frown lines or glabellar lines are found in the middle of your eyebrows when you are mad, thinking, or trying to focus your attention on something.

If you want to test or see if you have a lot of these lines, frown in front of the mirror and check if you have a number “11” in between your eyebrows.

Crow’s Feet

Crow’s feet (also called periorbital and lateral canthal) lines are found at the sides of the eyes that show or come out when you smile.

Forehead

The forehead lines appear when the frontalis muscle contracts and raises your eyebrows.

However, some have really visible forehead lines that remain on the forehead even without forcefully raising the eyebrows.

Bunny Lines

If you like to scrunch up your nose when you laugh, then you might have these lines. They are found on the bridge of your nose when you’re about to sneeze or while laughing.

They usually come out when you do a lot of Botox on the muscles in between your eyebrows and on the sides of your eyes. Since these muscles become relaxed, the extra workload is passed on to the muscles around your nose when you smile or laugh.

Chin Dimpling

They are the small dimples that look like the skin of an orange. By relaxing the muscle involved, the dimples eventually disappear.
