Are You about to Lose Your Toenail?

Is it possible to prevent nail loss?

Yes, the fall of the nails is preventable, and here are some simple recommendations.

  • If you have noticed that your nails are sensitive, avoid excessive use of products such as acetone, acrylics, and glues that are generally used in beauty salons. Instead, use products recommended for sensitive nails and do your pedicure at home or let your therapist know about your condition so she can take the necessary measures.
  • Don’t share your tools for pedicure with other people.
  • If you suffer from nail fungus, try to clean your nails constantly, wear clean socks, and continuously expose your feet to fresh air.
  • Avoid wearing shoes that create a hot and humid environment for your nails for a prolonged period.
  • Check your thyroid gland periodically; on occasions; thyroid problems can cause nail loss.
  • While exercising, wear adequate shoes.
  • Take multivitamins and maintain a balanced diet.
