We were born with hair for a reason– for thermoregulation and (this might surprise you) sexual attraction. Our hair means well. But some of us just don’t like the sight of it when we’re wearing a tank top or bikini.
Thankfully, we have lasers to save the day!
So, below are a few things to consider before deciding to get one.

✔ An ideal candidate for getting a laser is someone who has dark and thick hair with light skin. This allows the laser to identify hair from the skin easily.
It will still work on those with skin color. However, the wavelength (or laser settings) must be adjusted accordingly to avoid skin damage or burns. And with more conservative settings, you might require more sessions.
If you have blonde, red, or gray hair, your hair might not be able to absorb the energy emitted by the laser to create significant results.
✔ Though lasers work anywhere with hair, the most common areas would be the underarms, bikini, and legs. This is because hair grow the thick in these areas making them the easiest to zap.

✔ As promising as it sounds, they don’t work like magic. The number of sessions you will need will depend on how responsive your hair is. This can be as little as 6 to 10, which can be done on a monthly basis.
