Tips to take care of your skin if you are in your 20’s.

When you are in your 20s, you may not see signs of aging, but this doesn’t mean your collagen is not degrading. You need to take care of your skin while you are in your 20s because it is better prevention than cure. 

Around this age, you only need to follow the necessary steps on your routine, but the essential step is choosing the right products for your skin type and using sunscreen daily.

Follow these basic steps to take care of your skin:

  1. Learn your skin type: In order to choose the right products for you, it is essential to identify if your skin is oily, sensitive, dry, or mixed.
  2. Wash your face: Always do it twice a day and never go to sleep without removing your makeup; besides clogging your pores, you will increase your chances of pigmentation and showing aging signs.
  3. Hydrate your skin: Hydration doesn’t only means you must put it on top of your skin; it has to be something you take care of inside and out. Besides using products with Hyaluronic acid and antioxidants, make sure you drink enough water.
  4. Don’t forget about the AHA: You can slowly add them to your skin routine, add glycolic or lactic acid to your routine, just take some precautions on the way you combine them with other ingredients.
  5. Daily use of SPF: This is the crucial step of skincare; use it daily, even during winter or if you are inside your house sitting next to the window. You can choose to apply it by itself or in combination with your makeup, but no less than SPF 30.

Add an eye cream: This area of your face has the thinnest skin of all hence is the first one to show signs of aging.

Use a light cream that can hydrate your area; you can combine them with peptides or caffeine if you suffer from puffiness and dark circles.
