When you read the word Botox, it is usually and automatically associated with cosmetic treatments. Still, the truth is that it can be used to treat many other medical conditions, among them, one is chronic migraines. How often should I apply it?

Botox to treat migraines is not a definitive solution; like all other treatments, it will only offer temporary relief. The average time between applications is three to four months. The first few days after application, you will probably not feel any difference, but after the second week of the first treatment, you will notice an impressive improvement. 

After these two weeks have passed, most patients report that they have even completely stopped or at least reduced their painkillers’ intake to treat migraines. It is also essential for you to know that the first session is not entirely practicon occasions so that you may give it a second try.
