How to understand that your baby is ready for the first haircut? There’s no specific age recommended for a first baby hair cut. It can be six months or it can be 2 years. Because some kids are born with more hair than the others and some parents prefer not to cut it short. Every situation is different and unique.
Here are some signs that it can be the time for your baby’s first haircut
- There’s hair always on the baby’s face. If you noticed that your baby is constantly bothered by the hair and tries to push it away. Then probably it is the time to give your child a haircut.
- It takes a long time to manage it. Is it taking longer to make your kid ready every time you go out? Combing and styling your baby’s hair became a torture? If so, then I think it is time to trim your baby’s hair.
- Uneven growth. Hair can grow faster on some areas of the head than the others. There is nothing bad about it but in case it is bothering you, you can go to a baby hair salon and get a nice haircut.
- Split ends. If you noticed that your baby’s hair has splitting ends then it’s definitely the time to visit a hair salon.
