Does Inversion Method Works for Hair Growth?

If you are struggling with slow hair growth, you must have come across a hair inversion method on the internet. Let’s discuss today if it really works or not.

Does Inversion Method Works for Hair Growth?

The hair inversion method is claimed to help grow 1-2 extra inches per month.  It is done by hanging your head upside down to increase the blood flow towards the scalp, improving scalp health and increasing hair growth. Technically, it sounds justified, but no research will support or oppose the inversion method alone.

There are researches available that involve oiling and scalp massage along with inversion methods stimulating hair growth. This has also proved to reduce hair fall. Many oils, mainly essential oils, are found beneficial. For example, peppermint oil, rosemary oil, lavender oil, etc.

While no harm appears in trying it, risk depends on your health and underlying condition. For example, hanging your head to flip your hair can increase your blood pressure and reduce your heart rate if you do it for a longer time. It also increases the risk of straining your neck or back.

Though there is nothing wrong with trying it yourself, it is advised to not try the inversion method if you are pregnant, have back or spinal injury, or heart disease, etc.
