How to Get Rid of Dark Circles with Tea Tree Oil?

How to Get Rid of Dark Circles with Tea Tree Oil?

Tea tree oil is an essential oil. It is also called melaleuca oil. It has numerous skin benefits. It moisturizes and nourishes the skin. It is beneficial to restore the skin’s natural oil balance. That’s why it helps with fading away dark circles. But you must know that you cannot apply this oil directly to your skin, especially the area close to your eyes, as it can cause redness and irritation. 

How to use tea tree oil?

  • Before applying, dilute tea tree oil with any carrier -such as olive oil, coconut oil, almond oil, etc.-for dilution, add 1-2 drops of tea tree oil with 12 drops of carrier oil.
  • Use fingers to apply and gently massage the oil around the eye area. Make a circular motion.
  • Do this before going to bed and wash in the morning.
  • For better results, use daily before sleeping.

How to Get Rid of Dark Circles with Tea Tree Oil?

Don’t forget to do a patch test on your wrist before applying it around your eye. If you don’t want to apply the oil directly, you can use eye creams bearing tea tree oil as the main ingredient to get similar results. Make sure to consult your pharmacist before choosing any new product.
