How to apply your face serum properly.

The three basic skincare steps are cleansing, toning, and applying a moisturizer; however, if you want to take your beauty routine to the next level, you must always add a serum to address any specific concern wrinkles, pigmentation, dryness, dullness, oiliness, and others.

Serums are more concentrated products that treat specific skin concerns, and they always do it because they contain specific active ingredients to treat that only concern.

They can also penetrate deeper into the skin; hence their results can be seen faster than if you use a cream or any other type of product.

Generally, although there are many types, serums contain antioxidant components, hyaluronic acid, and vitamin C, the latter of which helps to enhance the skin’s radiance.

What is the right order to apply your serum?

First of all, do your cleansing, apply your toner, and then you can add your serum.

It is crucial that you carefully choose the serum that you will use for your face.

If if you need an extra hydration dose, it is ideal to use a hyaluronic acid serum before the moisturizer.

The serum is absorbed faster and makes the active ingredients penetrate deeply, while the cream is the treatment itself with which the skin will be protected, both at night and during the day.

When it comes to cosmetics, the order of the factors does alter the result you get in your skin.

If you use different care products, you have to apply them in the correct order. If you don’t, they probably won’t do any good.

Keep in mind the purpose and texture of the cosmetic, in general, the lighter ones go first.

Now that you know what this cosmetic can do for your skin, it’s time to apply it properly and it turns out that drying your face completely after cleansing is exactly what you shouldn’t do to get the most out of its capabilities.
