Yes, don’t be surprised that your bald head needs skincare too. The good news is that it doesn’t take a lot of work, money, or effort.
For many people having a bald head is not a choice but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t look good on you, that is why you have to take care of your scalp skin and we are going to show you how!
Tips before going bald:
Tip 1: Cutting your hair as short as possible with scissors before even considering using a razor on your head. This will guarantee an even cut by keeping the razor close to the skin. Using a heated cloth on your head will soften the hairs and open the pores. To give your skin an additional layer of lubrication and protection, use pre-shave oil.
Tip 2: A basic three-blade disposable razor should do the trick if you have straighter hair. However, a single blade razor is for people with coarse, curly hair and sensitive skin since it prevents unnecessary discomfort by only using a single stroke and without cutting the hairs too close.
Tips for after you go bald:
Tip 1: It’s crucial to quickly take care of yourself after shaving your head each time. To cool and treat your freshly shaven scalp use a cold towel and soothing moisturizer or jojoba oil. A healthy dollop of aloe Vera gel also works wonders to prevent irritation.
Tip 2: Your scalp is skin, after all! You should therefore move some components of your facial treatment routine upwards. This entails cleaning with a small amount of hair shampoo because oils, dirt can still accumulate and using a moisturizer every day to keep the skin nourished.
Tip 3: Always finish with SPF.
