Fake Skincare Products: How to Know If Your Product Is Original or a Copy?

Nowadays, with the internet and social media, we can find products advertising everywhere and some of them are really good deals that make us wonder if they are real, and even sometimes too good to be true, and that is when we wonder: how to know if a product is original or a copy? Fake skincare product

What are the dangers of buying fake skincare products?

The companies that produce fake skincare products only care about the money, so they won’t take the time to try and use ingredients before adding them to their products and selling them. By using ingredients that haven’t been tested, you can cause redness, burning, allergies, and even pigmentation of the skin.

How to identify fake products?

  • Check the label: Fake products can have different colors, irregular logotypes, and may not show the full ingredient list. If you are getting the product from another website, make sure to compare the instruction and information on the label with the one advertised on the official website
  • Check the price: Fake products tend to be cheaper; if you feel suspicious about the cost of the product, it will probably be just a copy.
  • Try the product before applying: If you have been using the product on a previous occasion and the new one (bought in another place) gave you a bad reaction, it is probably made with different ingredients.
