Botox treatment for hair doesn’t contain botulinum toxin, the main ingredient of botox. But some products are being marketed as botox for your hair. They work like skin botox, i.e., fills the individual fibers of hair, giving full, smooth, and lustrous hair.

The botox treatment is a deep conditioning treatment for your hair. It does not involve any injection or similar preparations. It is a topical procedure done on your hair. Usually, filler such as keratin coats the hair fibers. It fills all the damaged and thin areas. That’s why it helps with split ends, very fine, low volume hair, damaged or frizzy hair.

It is a costly treatment. But you can get it done in professional spas and salons. 

Ingredients of hair botox vary. Unlike keratin treatment, hair botox does not contain any harsh chemicals. That’s why it is safe for every type of hair. You can expect an allergic reaction, so it’s better not to let the ingredients come in contact with your skin.
