The Benefits of Drinking Tea for Your Skin

Tea time! I was thinking that many people must be feeling the same as me – wanting to get the nutritious benefits from smoothies and juices, but feeling way too cold!

As I was pouring a cup of decaf English Breakfast this morning, I started thinking about the different types of tea and all of the various benefits they have on my body.

Some great health benefits to help your skin from the inside out:

  • Can help wake you up naturally and help you fall asleep
  • Many teas contain caffeine, but it has about 2-3x less than the amount than coffee
  • Full of antioxidants, which help your body (and skin) from the inside out by fighting free radicals 
  • Helps to improve your immune system
  • Aids in exercise endurance

Herbal tea has been around for centuries all over the world, so it must be effective, right?

When it comes to bedtime, my go-to tea is always chamomile.
