Homemade Antibacterial Face pack for Pimples

The largest organ of the body (skin) is the first line of protection against bacteria and viruses using this Antibacterial Face pack. It is the first that get affected by pollution, stress and hormonal imbalance in the body which results in acne.

There are several acne treatments available in front of your eyes right in your kitchen. The common foods items and ingredients, such as cucumbers, turmeric, gram flour, honey and more, can be used as a facial mask. Mixing of two or more ingredients results in organic face pack and turned into chemical-free acne remedies.

Garlic and honey pack

Garlic is known for its antibacterial properties. When applied on acne, it helps clear skin. Mix crushed garlic with honey and dab it on acne. Leave it on for 20 minutes and wash.

Neem and rose water

Neem has antibacterial properties and is used in several skin-care and hair products. Make a paste of fresh neem leaves and mix it with a few drops of rose water. Apply on your face and wash once dried.

Aloe vera and turmeric

Turmeric is an excellent exfoliating agent and contains antibacterial properties. Aloe vera soothes the skin and has anti-inflammatory properties. Together, they help in clearing skin and fading acne scars.

Milk and nutmeg

Take one teaspoon of nutmeg and mix it with one teaspoon of raw milk to make a paste. Wash the pack off after 20 minutes. You can add saffron strands to get a glow.


Aspirin contains salicylic acid, which is an important ingredient used to treat acne. Mix crushed Aspirin with water to make a paste. Apply only on the pimples. Wash after 15 minutes. Follow with a moisturiser suitable for acne-prone skin. 

Fuller’s earth and rose water

Acne-prone skin tends to be oily usually. To soak up excess oil and leave your skin fresh, mix fuller’s earth aka multani mitti with a few drops of rose water and a dash of lemon juice. Fuller’s earth helps in drying up acne, rose water moisturises skin and lemon juice fades acne scars.

Mint and honey

Grind a few mint leaves and add a dash of honey to make a paste. Apply all over your face and allow it to dry. Wash off with lukewarm water.

Honey and cinnamon 

Honey and cinnamon both have antibacterial properties that help in soothing acne. Mix the two together and apply all over your face. Wash off once it’s dried.

Potato and lemon

Grate potato to make a pulp and add a few drops of lemon to it. Apply this mixture on your face. This face pack helps in removing excess oil from face and also fades tan and blemishes.

Tomato and gram flour

Take a two spoons of gram flour (besan) and squeeze out tomato juice into it till it forms a thick paste. Apply this on your face. This face pack is extremely effective in healing acne and removing marks.Read More………
