Glow Givers

From time to time, your skin can look dull and pigmented and scream out for the fullest coverage foundation in your beauty bag. Not so fast! Don’t just cover it up, take the time to understand why your skin is screaming for help; you’ll probably find that your skin needs the rejuvenation and revitalization that can only be found in nature’s very own offerings. What we like to call, Mother Nature’s glow givers.

Vitamins and nutrients are vital for glowing skin, particularly Vitamin C. Lemons and oranges have an abundance of Vitamin C and protect from daily photodamage and hyperpigmentation. Try adding these fruits to a smoothie in the morning, or squeeze into some super delicious coconut oil, dab onto the skin and then rinse after 10 minutes for a totally natural face cleanser.

We’ve all tried cucumber on our eyes, mainly because we see it in the glossy magazines, but it really is perfect for glow giving, due to its natural Vitamin K and high-water content. Cucumber is also fantastic at reducing wrinkles and reducing inflammation, making it great for acne-prone skin. Simply grate half a cucumber, add 1 teaspoon of coconut oil and 1 tablespoon of milk and use as a face mask, you’ll be glowing in no time.

Pores can often get clogged with grime, pollution and daily makeup wear, so it’s crucial that oxidants are removed as quickly as possible. Using a natural and/or organic cleanser will help with your skin glow, treating spots and various skin combinations as it goes.

Anti-pollution skincare is a huge trend right now, removing pollutants from our precious skin and limiting dullness, breakouts, and clogged pores. These anti-pollution skincare oils, moisturizers, mists and milk all contain mega nutrients infused with vitamin B5 and hyaluronic acid, to lock out airborne pollutants, and vitamin B3 and C, to bring that sunny glow to your skin.
