Here are a few things you need to pay attention to if you want to make it right with your hair: Use the right shampoo for your healthy hair
Use the right shampoo for your hair
If you have fine or thin hair, opt for shampoos that are mild and clarifying.
To know if your hair is categorized under “fine”, take a strand and roll it in between your thumb and index finger. If you feel like it’s hardly there, then you most likely have thin or fine hair.
Whereas if you have thick strands, go for moisturizing shampoos.

And if you have colored hair, make sure to get a shampoo that’s safe enough not to wash off your hair color.
Do not wash your hair every day
It may feel uncomfortable especially for those residing in tropical countries. But washing your hair every day can remove natural oils that your hair needs to stay moisturized.

If you have an oily scalp, washing every two days should be good enough while, for a dry scalp, once to twice weekly should be okay. Healthy hair
Check water at home
Some houses have water that contains minerals such as magnesium and calcium. They say that a build-up of these elements in your hair can lead to hair breakage and dryness.
So, another option is to use a co-wash (instead of shampoo) that can keep your hair clean and hydrated at the same time.
