How to choose the right facial toner for your skin?

To complete your skincare routine, it is advisable to use a facial toner; choosing the right toner is essential for selecting another product for your skin. One of the most important things is to know how to choose them for our skin type.

How to choose the right toner for your skin?

If we already know whether our skin is dry or oily, getting the right facial toner will not be a difficult task. Toners are not considered astringents but provide active ingredients that can maximize and improve the skin cleansing routine. Therefore, it is essential to pay attention to light moisturizing formulas, lightening blemishes, or constant and gentle exfoliation. Facial toner can also prepare the skin for moisturizing, which is more powerful when applied on damp skin. So, based on the type of skin we have, we can choose the most suitable one.

Here we will give you some tips to guide you to choose a toner for your skin:

Dry skin: The best combination is based on a tonic with hyaluronic acid and collagen. Your skin will not only absorb the moisturizer better, but at the same time, it will also appear less chapped.

Sensitive skin: Toners with antioxidants and amino acids nourish the skin and help it recover from irritation; these toners will soothe this skin type.

Oily skin and skin with blackheads: In this case, you should gently use a toner based on AHA and BHA to remove impurities and remove sebum from the skin. You may also want to use facial toners with an antibacterial and exfoliating oil base or formula. Glycolic acid treatments can be a bit expensive. If you can’t invest in these products, buy an aloe-based toner. It works well for pigmentation and removing dead skin cells.
